One-on-one, judgment-free, 50-minute online counseling sessions for you and your child

Talk Therapy

A more traditional style, talk therapy allows you to explore past and present experiences to uncover the future you deserve. Our conversations will allow you to express yourself fully and authentically while discussing what’s important to you. You can gain insight into the beliefs, patterns, and more that keep you from the life you want for yourself, which is a starting point for change.

Minecraft Play Therapy

Did you know your child naturally uses play to express what they cannot say with words? In traditional play therapy, children use different toys and art materials to represent themselves, their relationships, and their struggles while symbolically playing out their experiences. In our online sessions, your child will use Minecraft to express themselves using their first language of play in a digital format.

Video Game Therapy

Minecraft may not be your child’s game of choice. My library of video games I use in session includes Roblox, Fortnite, and Rocket League, and expand it based on what games your child, tween, or teen likes to play. Providing your child with age-appropriate options, they can continue to encounter growth points naturally, bridge the gap between play and talk therapy, and express themselves on a deeper level.

Parent Consultation

Have you ever wanted to feel more connected to your child and unsure where to start? Child-Parent Relationship Training can help you learn skills to strengthen your communication with your child. Processing your experiences can also help you understand who you are as a caregiver and how it aligns with the caregiver you want to be.

We can work together on your goals to

Build your self-esteem and increase your self-acceptance

Cope with feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and depression

Heal from trauma, loss, and other major life events

Manage stress and navigate life transitions

Enhance your relationships and set boundaries

Explore your identity and achieve personal growth

Unique Life Experiences

You’re feeling motivated to start therapy because you want help with something happening right now, and how you’re feeling may be related to an experience you’ve encountered. That’s normal. Many clients who choose to work with me identify with one, or a combination, of the following:

ADHD

Anxiety

Childhood Adversity/Trauma

Depression

Emotional Suppression

Family-of-Origin Trauma

Issues with Self-Worth

Self-Identified Geek/Gamer

What to expect from your sessions

Therapy works because it allows you to be the person you are instead of the person you’re supposed to be. During our time together, you can expect to be understood and accepted as you connect with the parts of yourself that you may not yet understand or accept.

Together, you and I will use the counseling relationship as a model to build a new relationship with yourself, which will change how you engage with your emotions, others, and the world around you.

Payment Information

My private pay rate is $135 per session, paid for with a credit/debit card using Stripe. When working with children, this fee includes one follow-up parent consultation, provided at no charge, every six to eight sessions.

I also offer a limited number of reduced-rate spots for clients who cannot pay my full rate. If you are interested to see if you qualify, please contact me by phone or email.

Private Pay

I can accept most plans from the following insurance providers: United Healthcare, Optum, Aetna, Oscar Health, and UMR.

When using your insurance, a diagnosis is required by your insurance provider for you or your child to receive services. I must also provide information regarding your attendance when submitting a claim. Additionally, your insurance provider may request other information about your counseling sessions to determine treatment eligibility.

In-Network Insurance

If you have out-of-network benefits through an insurance provider that I am not in-network with, I can give you a receipt of services with all of the information you need to submit a claim for reimbursement of your out-of-pocket costs.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, a “Good Faith Estimate” outlining the costs for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
